El Comité IT fue creado en octubre 2006, siendo Daniel Thierry su primer presidente. Dos peculiaridades marcaron nuestro nacimiento: a) nuestras primeras juntas fueron conducidas en inglés y b) la creación del comité no fue requerida por RAMMAC. Con el paso del tiempo, el formato cambió a español y RAMMAC no solamente nos aceptó sino que nos respaldó y promocionó.
Unos días antes de cumplir nuestro primer aniversario, llevamos a cabo la primer IT Expo con gran éxito..En dos días, Veinticuatro proveedores de servicios presentaron sus productos y servicios. Doce expositores dieron conferencias de diferentes temas. Mas de 40 personas atendieron al menos una conferencia.
En su segundo año de vida, el Comité se ha consolidado como uno de los más activos, con varios eventos ya realizados y varios en el horizonte, incluida la segunda IT Expo en octubre 2008. Ve expoitreynosa.com.
Sept 2008: Después de la salida de Gerardo Belmonte, Mario Pineda se convierte en Presidente, Agustín Tiburcio se mueve a la vicrpesidencia y Jorge Del Angel se une a la Directiva como Tesorero.
En agosto 2009, debido a razones de trabajo, Jorge Del Angel sale de la Junta Directiva y Erick Jiménez se convierte en el nuevo Tesorero.

IT Committee was established in October 2008, being Daniel Thierry its first president. Two peculiar facts distinguished its birth: a) the first meetings were held in English and b) the committee creation was not requested by RAMMAC. As time went by, the format was switched to Spanish and RAMMAC not only accepted us by backed us up and sponsored us.
A few days before our first anniversary, the first IT Expo was celebrated with great success. Twenty four service suppliers showcasted their products and services. Twelve expositors held conferences. More than 40 persons attended at least one conference.
On its second year, the Committee has positioned itself as one of the most active, with several events already held and others in the horizon, including the second IT Expo in October 2008. See expoitreynosa.com.
Sept 2008: Following the exit of Gerardo Belmonte, Mario Pineda becomes President, Agustín Tiburcio moves to the Vicepresidency and Jorge Del Angel joins the Board as Treasurer.
In August 2009, due to work reasons, Jorge Del Angel splits from the Board and is replaced by Erick Jiménez as new Treasurer.
